A prefabricated building pod, the pod comprising a floor, a roof and side walls connecting the floor and the roof. The pod also includes one or more jacks in the side walls; the jacks adjustable to extend below the floor. At a building site, the pod 10 may be lifted or moved into position on the building site. The jacks may be used to level the pod in location and connect any utilities of the pod 10.
