The invention relates to a method for preparing an insulating product made of wool, which comprises a step of aeration in a device, the device comprising a chamber and at least one means capable of generating a turbulent gas flow; during the aeration step, a flow of carrier gas is injected into the chamber and wool in the form of nodules or flakes is exposed to the turbulent flow of said carrier gas and driven in a direction A, and in reverse in a direction B opposite to direction A, so that it exists in the chamber at least in one plane perpendicular to the direction A, in which wool driven in the direction A and wool driven in the direction B cross.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un produit d'isolation à base de laine comprenant une étape d'aération dans un dispositif, le dispositif comprend une enceinte et au moins un moyen susceptible de générer un écoulement gazeux turbulent, lors de l'étape d'aération un flux de gaz porteur est introduit dans l'enceinte et une laine sous forme de nodules ou de flocons est soumise à l'écoulement turbulent de ce gaz porteur avec entrainement dans un sens selon une direction A, et en sens inverse selon une direction B opposée à la direction A de sorte qu'il existe dans l'enceinte au moins dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction A où se croisent de la laine entrainée dans la direction A et de la laine entrainée dans la direction B.
