A mounting device for mounting a hollow fence post on a pipe has a body with an axial thickness and one or more fastener plates. The fastener plates may be disposed on support plates secured to the body on one or both sides of the axial thickness. Each fastener plate has an adjustable fastener to adjustably secure the mounting device on the pipe. The fastener plates may be configured to be bent from a first position to a functional position before installation.
