The invention is a telescoping hand rail for the step ladder. The invention can be applied to any height of step ladder. With these hand rails it makes the upper portion and even the top cap of step ladders safer to use. l truly believe no matter what your age or ability is, when climbing stairs or ladders, you should always have a hand on a railing. The invention consists of two vertical telescopic rails and a horizontal telescopic beam. This telescoping beam is important because the two telescoping arms are connected to the ladders non-parallel "A" shaped front rails. At the fully extended travel height the beam is shorter then at the retracted height. The rails extend upwards from the ladders top cap and latches in place at the top, middle and bottom of the rails travel range.
