SEALING DEVICE AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A device for sealing an aperture defined between a first object and second object is provided. The device comprises a first sealing member and a second sealing member. The first sealing member comprising a base member and first, second and third sealing portions. The base member has first and second sides and a surface extending therebetween. The first sealing portion extends from the first side of the base member. A first attachment portion extends along at least a portion of the surface of the base member. The second sealing portion extends from the second side of the base member and is configured to conform to and seal the gap. The third sealing portion extends from the second sealing portion and is structured to conform to and form a seal the exterior surface of the second object. The second sealing member comprising a backing member and second attachment portion.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'étanchéification d'une ouverture définie entre des premier et second objets. Le dispositif comprend des premier et deuxième éléments d'étanchéification. Le premier élément d'étanchéification comprend un élément de base et des première, deuxième et troisième parties d'étanchéification. L'élément de base comporte des premier et second côtés ainsi qu'une surface s'étendant entre ceux-ci. La première partie d'étanchéification s'étend à partir du premier côté de l'élément de base. Une première partie de fixation s'étend le long d'au moins une partie de la surface de l'élément de base. La deuxième partie d'étanchéification s'étend à partir du second côté de l'élément de base et est conçue pour épouser et étancher l'espace. La troisième partie d'étanchéification s'étend à partir de la deuxième partie d'étanchéification et définit une extrémité distale conçue pour épouser la surface extérieure du second objet et former un joint avec celle-ci. Le deuxième élément d'étanchéification comprend un élément de support et une seconde partie de fixation. L'élément de support comprend des première et seconde surfaces. La première surface comprend un adhésif conçu pour se fixer au premier objet. La seconde partie de fixation s'étend le long d'au moins une partie de la seconde surface de l'élément de support et elle est conçue pour mettre en prise de manière adaptée la première partie de fixation de façon à fixer ainsi le premier élément d'étanchéification au deuxième, ce qui met en prise de manière étanche la deuxième partie d'étanchéification au moins partiellement à l'intérieur de l'espace et met en prise de manière étanche l'extrémité distale du troisième élément d'étanchéification et l'extérieur du second objet.

La seconde partie de fixation s'étend le long d'au moins une partie de la seconde surface de l'élément de support et elle est conçue pour mettre en prise de manière adaptée la première partie de fixation de façon à fixer ainsi le premier élément d'étanchéification au deuxième, ce qui met en prise de manière étanche la deuxième partie d'étanchéification au moins partiellement à l'intérieur de l'espace et met en prise de manière étanche l'extrémité distale du troisième élément d'étanchéification et l'extérieur du second objet.
