The invention relates to a method for the cambering of a wooden element, comprising the steps of: cutting to form at least one incision in a suilace of the wooden element; inserting an expansive material into the at least one incision of the wooden element; letting the expansive material expand in the at least one incision so that a cambering of the wooden element is achieved.

Procédé de surélévation d'un élément en bois présentant les étapes suivantes consistant à : pratiquer au moins une entaille (2) dans une surface de l'élément en bois (1) ; insérer une matière expansible dans l'au moins une entaille (2) de l'élément en bois (1) ; permettre l'expansion de la matière expansible dans l'au moins une entaille (2) de sorte que l'on obtient une surélévation de l'élément en bois (1).
