METHODS FOR RECLAIMING OR RECYCLING ASPHALT AND ASPHALT AND ASPHALT COMPONENTS PRODUCED THEREBY
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de récupérer ou de recycler de l'asphalte ou des éléments d'asphalte en vue de produire de l'asphalte ou des éléments d'asphalte réutilisables comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant à : (a) utiliser de l'asphalte ou des éléments d'asphalte ; (b) ajouter l'asphalte ou les éléments d'asphalte à une solution à une température supérieure à la température de fusion du liant d'asphalte ; et éventuellement une ou plusieurs des étapes suivantes consistant à : broyer ou concasser l'asphalte à récupérer ou à recycler en fragments, débris ou particules préalablement à l'étape a), c) cribler ou séparer les éléments d'asphalte d'agrégat grossier et d'agrégat fin contenus dans la solution de l'étape b), d) laver ou éliminer un liant d'asphalte et/ou la solution à partir des éléments d'asphalte d'agrégat grossier et d'agrégat fin criblés ou séparés à l'étape c), et e) laver ou éliminer un liant d'asphalte contenu dans la solution de l'étape b).
A method to reclaim or recycle asphalt or asphalt components to produce reusable asphalt or asphalt components featuring (a) providing asphalt or asphalt components; (b) adding the asphalt or asphalt components to a solution at a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the asphalt binder; and optionally one or more of the following: grinding or breaking the asphalt to be reclaimed or recycled into chunks, millings or particulate prior to step a), c) screening or separating coarse aggregate and fine aggregate asphalt components from the solution of b), d) cleaning or removing asphalt binder and/or the solution from the coarse aggregate and fine aggregate asphalt components screened or separated in step c), and e) cleaning or removing asphalt binder from the solution of b).
