A valve assembly includes a body having an inlet on a first end and an outlet on a second end in fluid connection with the inlet. A push-to-connect fitting is integral to the body and configured to connect to a pipe end. A stem is configured to seal the body in a first position and allow fluid to flow from the inlet to the outlet in a second position. A connector surrounds at least part of the fitting. The body is configured to house a sealing ring. The fitting is configured to communicate the inlet with the pipe end. The sealing ring secured by the fitting is configured to provide a seal between the inlet and the pipe end.
