ROLLER BLIND ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF INSTALLING ROLLER BLINDS
A roller blind assembly is provided which includes a cassette for housing a roller blind, a first engagement member extending from the top surface of the cassette and a third engagement member extending from a side surface of the cassette. There is also provided as part of the assembly at least one wall bracket having a second engagement member extending from the horizontal side of the wall bracket for connection with the first engagement member and a fourth engagement member mounted to the vertical side of the wall bracket which may be biasedly engaged with the third engagement member. The fourth engagement member includes a length adjustable portion, which can be removed after installation to correspond to the size of the cassette. Also provided is a method of installing a roller blind assembly which includes the steps of: fastening to a wall and/or ceiling a wall bracket having a second engagement member along a horizontal side and a biasing fourth engagement member along a vertical side; securing a first engagement member extending from a top surface of a roller blind cassette to the second engagement member of the wall bracket; and securing a third engagement member extending from a side surface of the roller blind cassette to the fourth engagement member of the wall bracket by first applying a force to the biasing fourth engagement member.
