GASKET SEALING ARRANGEMENTS
An expansion joint includes a foam strip having first and second lateral side surfaces extending axially outward to an outer edge surface, and an elongated gasket having a laterally expandable portion adhered to the outer edge surface of the foam strip, with the laterally expandable portion extending between first and second lateral end portions. The first and second lateral end portions each define at least one of a laterally outward facing bonding surface and an axially inward facing bonding surface, with the at least one bonding surface being spaced apart axially outward from the corresponding one of the first and second lateral side surfaces of the foam strip.
La présente invention concerne un joint de dilatation qui comprend une bande de mousse ayant des première et seconde surfaces latérales s'étendant vers l'extérieur dans la direction axiale vers une surface de bord externe, et un joint allongé ayant une partie latéralement extensible collée à la surface de bord externe de la bande de mousse, la partie extensible latéralement s'étendant entre les première et seconde parties d'extrémité latérale. Les première et seconde parties d'extrémité latérale définissent chacune au moins une surface de liaison orientée latéralement vers l'extérieur et une surface de liaison orientée axialement vers l'intérieur, la ou les surfaces de liaison étant espacées axialement vers l'extérieur à partir de la surface correspondante parmi les première et seconde surfaces latérales de la bande de mousse.
