A decorative mantel article for placement above and/or around a fireplace that is lightweight for facilitation of transport and placement is provided. Additionally, the decorative mantel exhibits a noncombustible quality heretofore undeveloped within the mantel industry, particularly for such articles that are provided with decorative aesthetic designs. Such a lightweight article is provided with all noncombustible components with dimensionally stable structural benefits for long-term mounting and usage, thereby providing a sufficiently strong mantel with a low overall weight measurement. A mounting component is further encompassed herein, as well.

De plus, le manteau de cheminée décoratif présente une qualité non combustible jusqu'à présent non mise au point dans l'industrie des manteaux de cheminée, en particulier pour des articles qui sont dotés de designs esthétiques décoratifs. Un tel article léger est pourvu d'éléments tous non combustibles présentant des avantages structuraux stables d'un point de vue dimensionnel pour un montage et une utilisation à long terme, ce qui permet d'obtenir un manteau de cheminée suffisamment solide présentant une faible mesure de poids total. L'invention concerne également un élément de montage.
