The Blind Hooker is a mechanical aid designed to allow the user to reach hard =to reach or out of reach window blinds. This device has a two directional head comprised of two different size claw hooks, one of which is designed to latch onto the single cord used to adjust, open or close standard window blinds. The other wider claw hook is designed to latch onto multiple cords and allow the entire window blind assembly to be raised =or lowered. Health Canada enacted legislation on Mayl, 2022 restricting the length of window blind cords to 22 cm, meaning all of us have an impaired ability to effectively reach and control our = window blinds. The reason for this is to prevent situations where children become tangled in long cords risking life-altering injuries and death. This simple to use solution eliminates stress and conflict for window blind users.
