METHOD FOR PRODUCING SHAPED BODIES BY SINTERING
A method for producing a shaped body by sintering comprises the following steps: a. providing a starting material containing metal powder and/or ceramic powder, b. forming a green part from the starting material either by shaping the starting material if it also contains binder material or by introducing a binder material into a powder bed formed from the starting material, c. chemically debinding, and/or debinding by means of a solvent, the green part to obtain a brown part, d. thermally debinding the brown part, e. consolidating the brown part to give the shaped body by sintering. In the method, the brown part is treated after step c. and before step d. with a plasticizer that softens the binder material still present in the brown part. Before step d. and after the treatment with the plasticizer, it is subjected to an isostatic pressing operation by contacting with a medium under an elevated pressure. This achieves an increase in material density after the sintering step.
Procédé de production d'un corps façonné par frittage comprenant les étapes suivantes : a. la fourniture d'un matériau de départ contenant de la poudre métallique et/ou de la poudre de céramique, b. la formation d'une partie verte à partir du matériau de départ soit en façonnant le matériau de départ s'il contient également un matériau liant, soit en introduisant un matériau liant dans un lit de poudre formé à partir du matériau de départ, c. le déliement chimique, et/ou le déliement au moyen d'un solvant, de la partie verte pour obtenir une partie brune, d. le déliement thermique de la partie brune, e. la consolidation de la partie brune pour donner le corps façonné par frittage. Dans le procédé, la partie brune est traitée après l'étape c. et avant l'étape d. avec un plastifiant qui ramollit le matériau liant encore présent dans la partie brune. Avant l'étape d. et après le traitement avec le plastifiant, elle est soumise à une opération de compression isostatique par mise en contact avec un milieu sous une pression élevée. Ceci permet d'obtenir une augmentation de la densité du matériau après l'étape de frittage.
