Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Öffnen und Schliessen einer senkrecht hängenden Türe (2), zum spaltfreien Schliessen einer Türöffnung (5). Sie umfasst zwei horizontal voneinander beabstandete Auflagen (7) mit je einer fest daran angebrachten Achse (9) sowie eine Einrichtung (8), welche fest mit einer der Auflagen (7) verbunden ist. An jeder Achse (9) ist ein zweiarmiger Hebel (10) mit j eweils einem ersten (11) und einem zweiten freien Hebelende (12) schwenkbar gelagert, wobei an jedem ersten freien Hebelende (11) eine erste Kopplung (13) zur gelenkigen Befestigung an einer Türe (2) und an jedem zweiten freien Hebelende (12) eine zweite Kopplung (14) zu einer gelenkigen Befestigung angeordnet ist. Die beiden zweiten Kopplungen (14) sind durch eine distanzhaltende Verbindung (15) gelenkig miteinander verbunden. Erfindungsgemäss sind die Achsen (9) in einem Winkel von 45° +/- 10° zur Horizontalen geneigt ausgerichtet.

The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for opening and closing a vertically hanging door (2), for example a sliding door (2), having a horizontal longitudinal direction (a) parallel to the door (4), for closing a door opening (5) in a wall (4) down to the floor (6) without any gaps. Said apparatus comprises: two supports (7) spaced apart from one another horizontally in the longitudinal direction (a), each support having an axle (9) fixedly attached thereto; and a device (8) which is fixedly connected to one of the supports (7). A two-armed lever (10) having a first (11) and a second free lever end (12) is pivotably mounted on each axle (9), wherein a first coupling (13) for articulated attachment to a door (2) is arranged at each first free lever end (11), and a second coupling (14) for forming an articulated attachment is arranged at each second free lever end (12). The two second couplings (14) are connected to one another in an articulated manner by a distance-maintaining connection (15) so that, during use, the second couplings (14) can be moved relative to the device (8) by linearly displacing said connection (15) along the longitudinal direction (a). According to the invention, the axles (9) are arranged in planes transverse to the longitudinal direction (a) and are inclined at an angle (α) of 45° +/- 10° to the horizontal so that, during use, the first couplings (13) can move both vertically and horizontally during displacement of the connection (15). This allows a door (2) that is articulated to the first couplings (13) to be lowered to the floor (6) during use and simultaneously moved towards the wall (4) in order to fully close the door opening (2) or, conversely, in order to fully distance the door (2) from the floor (6) and from the wall (4) so as to achieve the open position. A linear guide (15b), in which the distance-maintaining connection (15) is movably mounted in the longitudinal direction (a), is connected to the device (8) so that, during use, said connection (15) can be displaced in the longitudinal direction (a) when force is applied and locked in the open position.
