Es wird ein armiertes Bohrrohr (1) zum Stützen von Bohrlöchern zur Herstellung von Betonpfählen beschrieben, mit einem Kopfende (4) und einem am Kopfende (4) angeordneten oberen Anschlussstück (5) und mit einem Fussende (6) und einem am Fussende (6) angeordneten unteren Anschlussstück (7), wobei das Bohrrohr (1) mindestens ein Aussenrohr (2) aus Beton und mindestens ein darin angeordnetes Innenrohr (3) aus einem metallischen Werkstoff oder aus einem abrasionsbeständigen Kunststoff aufweist, und wobei das Bohrrohr (1) zwischen dem oberen Anschlussstück (5) und dem unteren Anschlussstück (7) einen mittleren Abschnitt (8) aufweist. Das Innenrohr (3) aus Stahl im mittleren Abschnitt (8) weist in der Mantelwand eine Mehrzahl von Aussparungen (10) mit gleicher Querschnittsfläche auf, wobei sich der mittlere Abschnitt (8) mit den Aussparungen (10) über mindestens einen Viertel der Gesamtlänge des Bohrrohrs (1) und über maximal sieben Achtel der Gesamtlänge des Bohrrohrs (1) erstreckt.
