The invention discloses a hydraulic tension control system of an improved paver ironing plate. The hydraulic tension control system comprises a hydraulic control loop, a tensioning mechanism and a controller, wherein the tensioning mechanism comprises a hydraulic tensioning cylinder, an inverted U-shaped traction arm, a traction element and a support frame; one end of the hydraulic tensioning cylinder is hinged to the traction arm; the middle part of the traction arm is connected with the main machine of the paver by a fixing frame; the hydraulic control loop comprises a hydraulic pump which is connected with the hydraulic tensioning cylinder by a pipeline via a magnetic exchange valve; the pipeline between the magnetic exchange valve and the hydraulic tensioning cylinder is provided with a hydraulic lock; a pressure reducing valve is arranged between the hydraulic pump and the magnetic exchange valve. The hydraulic tension control system is simple and compact in structure, low in cost, and convenient to assemble and operate; the U-shaped traction arm is connected with the main machine of the paver by the fixing frame; the ironing plate is precisely adjusted by an overflow valve and the hydraulic lock via hydraulic control, so that tension of the ironing plate can be adjusted in real time.
