The invention relates to a column connected with a base plate frame and a handrail column connecting piece. The column comprises a column body, a column handrail connecting piece and the base plate frame. The column handrail connecting piece is connected at the top of the column body. The base plate frame comprises a base plate connection portion connected with the column and a base plate fixing portion arranged below the base plate connection portion and used for being connected with a guardrail installation face. The base plate connection portion is arranged on the inner side of the bottom of the column and is in close fit with the inner wall of the column. The bottom of the column body can be connected onto the guardrail installation face conveniently, and the base plate connection portion of the base plate frame stretches into the bottom of the column. Due to the fact that the base plate connection portion has certain height, the connection portions for connecting the column and the base plate frame are increased, the connection strength between the column and the base plate frame is improved, and the column stress bending is avoided.
