The invention discloses a solar guardrail which is characterized by comprising a guardrail body and a solar collection mechanism (4). Two ends of the guardrail body are embedded into a wall of a balcony, the solar collection mechanism (4) is positioned in the guardrail body, the solar collection mechanism (4) can collect solar energy, and liquid in the solar collection mechanism (4) is heated through the solar energy. The solar guardrail is mounted on the balcony and can function in protection, and the solar energy can be converted into heat energy or electric energy by the solar guardrail.
