The invention discloses a vehicle door outer handle assembly. The vehicle door outer handle assembly comprises an outer handle base and a rear end cover cap which is assembled on the outer handle base, and further comprises a clamping plate and a clamping groove which is designed in the rear end cover cap, the rear end cover cap penetrates a mounting hole of the outer handle base, the clamping plate and the clamping groove are clamped and fixed, and the vehicle door outer handle assembly is provided with a clamping anti-drop portion. By means of the technical scheme, usage of an embedded nut is avoided, machining and mounting difficulty can be reduced, and the connection reliability can be increased through clamping of the clamping plate and the rear end cover cap. The invention further discloses an automobile with the vehicle door outer handle assembly.
