The invention discloses a method for treating sludge by using a cement kiln, and a cement kiln system for treating sludge. The method for treating sludge by using the cement kiln comprises the following steps: making wet sludge into dry sludge particles, then sending the dry sludge particles into a decomposing furnace or cement kiln, or sending the dry sludge particles into the decomposing furnace or cement kiln after crushing. The cement kiln system for treating sludge comprises a cement kiln, wherein the cement kiln is communicated with the decomposing furnace, and the decomposing furnace is provided with a dry sludge particle inlet; the dry sludge particle inlet of the decomposing furnace is communicated with a dry sludge particle warehouse through a decomposing furnace dry sludge particle conveying device, or the dry sludge particle inlet of the decomposing furnace is communicated with the dry sludge particle warehouse through the decomposing furnace dry sludge particle conveying device equipped with a dry sludge particle crusher. According to the method and the cement kiln system provided by the invention, the treatment scale of sludge can be greatly improved, and the daily treatment capacity is 200 tons/day above.
