The invention relates to a 99 alumina ceramic cylinder sleeve inner liner material used for petroleum drilling well and a preparation method thereof, which belongs to the technical field of ceramic material. The inner liner material comprises the following raw materials by weight percentage: 99.0-99.9% of alumina, 0.01-0.9% of magnesium oxide and 0.05-0.2% of silicon dioxide. According to the invention, the method employs a cold isostatic pressing technology, and steps of ball milling, granulation, moulding and roasting are carried out. The material has the advantages of low cost, excellent mechanical properties and chemical stability, can satisfy the rigorous requirement of corrosion resistance, high intensity and high hardness of a petroleum bore hole pump under harsh working condition. The invention also provides a simple preparation method, and is suitable for industrial production.
