The invention relates to a narrow-linewidth and low-loss gyromagnetic ferrite material and a preparation method thereof. A main phase of the material is of a garnet structure; the chemical formula is as follows: Y3-xCaxFe5-x-3yLiySn2y+xO12, wherein x is larger than or equal to 0.01 and smaller than or equal to 0.3, and y is larger than or equal to 0.001 and smaller than or equal to 0.04. The preparation method of the narrow-linewidth and low-loss gyromagnetic ferrite material comprises the following processes: calculating and weighing raw materials according to the chemical formula, mixing, pre-burning, sanding and crushing, centrifugally spraying and prilling, pressing, molding, sintering, grinding, annealing and coating a silver layer. The material has the basic characteristics that the saturation magnetization Ms is 123.4kA/m-159.2kA/m, the gyromagnetic resonance line width deltaH is smaller than or equal to 1.2kA/m, the dielectric loss tgdeltae is smaller than or equal to 0.5*10 <-4>; the material is assembled in a 25.7*31.5*10 circulator; the performance is tested under 925MHz-960MHz; and the insertion loss is smaller than or equal to 0.16dB. The material is low in sintering temperature, has energy-saving and environmental protection effects; the diameter of grains is 7-18 microns; the grains are uniform and integral and are few in defects; and the narrow-linewidth and low-loss gyromagnetic ferrite material is applied to the field of microwave wireless communication.
