The invention discloses a heat insulation building material. The heat insulation building material comprises, by weight, 15-20 parts of a carbon fiber, 25-40 parts of a rubber particle, 15-30 parts of low density polyethylene resin, 5-15 parts of calcium carbonate, 5-10 parts of ceramsite, 0.5-2 parts of magnesium oxide, 1-3 parts of a heat stabilizer, 0.3-0.8 parts of a waterproof agent, 1-3 parts of a toughening agent, 0.1-1 part of a foaming agent and 0.1-0.5 parts of a crosslinking agent. The building material provided by the invention has the characteristics of small heat conduction coefficient, excellent heat insulation performance, good waterproof effect, increased compressive strength, good durability, and great reduction of energy consumption and the production cost, and can be widely used in building construction.
