The invention discloses a safety inspection well. The safety inspection well comprises ground, an inspection well cover and an inspection well opening, wherein the inspection well cover is arranged on the ground; the inspection well opening is formed below the inspection well cover; a shallow well is fixedly arranged below the inspection well opening; a handrail is fixedly arranged on a side of the bottom of the shallow well, is connected with a deep well and is arranged on a side of the top of the deep well; the bottom of the deep well is connected with a down-comer. The handrail is made of a stainless steel material and is required to be vertically arranged; the space between every two handrail posts of the handrail is 10-20 cm; the depth of the shallow well is required to be within 1 m. The inspection well is changed into combination of the shallow well and the deep well, so a person does not directly fall into an extremely deep underground large drainage pipe even though the person falls; the handrail is arranged at the junction of the shallow well and the deep well and can be used for blocking some big sundries apart from blocking people, so the inspection well is extremely safe.
