The invention relates to a connecting piece, in particular to a profile steel connecting piece used for connecting profile steel with a box column with different connecting head face sizes. The profile steel connecting piece has an annular plane structure, and the outer contour of the profile steel connecting piece is smaller than the inner contour of the profile steel or box column with large connecting head face, and the inner contour of the profile steel connecting piece is larger than the outer contour of the profile steel or box column with small connecting head face. A connecting plate corresponding to a web of the profile steel is firmly arranged in the annular plane structure. The profile steel connecting piece has advantages and positive effects that by means of the technical scheme, the inner and outer contours of the profile steel connecting piece are respectively corresponding to the inner and outer contours of the profile steel and box column, and therefore, the connection between the profile steel and box column can be equal-strength alignment connection, and the length is not increased; the profile steel connecting piece has advantages of simple structure, low processing cost, convenience in use and the like.
