The invention discloses a production method of heat insulating hollow glass; the method comprises the following steps: selecting two pieces of plain glasses, cleaning and drying the glasses; respectively adhering a layer of heat insulating films on one side of each of the two pieces of plain glasses; bending prepared aluminum strips into an aluminum frame which is matched with the plain glasses, oppositely placing the two pieces of plain glasses which are adhered with the heat insulating films, and sticking the aluminum frame on the peripheries of the two pieces of plain glasses; arranging a polysulfide sealant between the aluminum frame and the plain glasses, removing the residual polysulfide sealant, thereby obtaining the product. Due to the locations of the two pieces of plain glasses close to the hollow cavity are both adhered with the heat insulating films, the heat insulating effect of the hollow glass produced by the provided method is greatly increased; and the method is simple and low in cost.
