The invention relates to a lightweight aggregate, and particularly relates to a non-sintered cladded high-strength lightweight aggregate which is prepared from 76.22 parts of fly ash, 2.03 parts of quicklime, 22.26 parts of self-made early strength agents, and 1.52 parts of anhydrous sodium sulphate. The product has the characteristics of non-sintering, simple production technology, large fly ash consumption, light weight, high strength, short production period, less equipment investment, considerable economic benefit, and the like, and the purposes of energy consumption reduction and bulk density reduction are realized.
