The invention discloses a man-made quartz stone plate and a preparation method thereof. The man-made quartz stone plate is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 10-90 parts of 3-80mesh quartz stones, 10-90 parts of 200-400mesh quartz powder, 5-20 parts of broken glass, 5-15 parts of unsaturated resin, 0.5-2 parts of an anti-cracking agent, 0.1-5 parts of a coupling agent, 0.1-5 parts of a curing agent and 0.1-5 parts of pigments. The anti-cracking agent is added in a preparation process, so that a cracking problem of the man-made quartz stone plate can be effectively avoided; moreover, the man-made quartz stone plate is low in manufacturing cost, simple in preparation method and suitable for industrial production.
