The invention relates to a ceramic pot containing medical stone and six-ring rock and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the technical field of domestic ceramics. The ceramic pot comprises the following components in parts by weight: 3-8 parts of medical stone, 1-5 parts of six-ring rock, 15-18 parts of potassium feldspar, 20-25 parts of albite, 1-3 parts of raw talc and 0.3-0.5 part of manganese oxide. The preparation method comprises the following steps: proportionally weighing the substances, performing ball milling for 40-45 minutes, adding deionized water which is 0.5-1 times the powder obtained by the ball milling in weight to obtain ceramic pug, and preparing a ceramic body from the ceramic pug; and firing for 8-8.5 hours at 1,120-1,170 DEG C, cooling to room temperature and polishing to obtain the product. The ceramic pot has good comprehensive properties and realizes a certain effect on promoting health of a human body after long-time use; and the process is simple and easy to implement, and the production cost is relatively low.
