The invention relates to a method for preparing a ZrB2-SiC ultra-high temperature ceramic composite material at low temperature. The method aims at solving the problems that in the high-temperature sintering process of an existing ZrB2-SiC ultra-high temperature ceramic composite material, as crystalline grains grow up, the mechanical property of the material is reduced, and the cost is high. The method comprises the first step of weighing ZrB2 powder and SiC powder; the second step of burdening, wherein the ZrB2 powder and the SiC powder are added into absolute ethyl alcohol, then a dispersing agent PEI is added, and mixed liquid is obtained in an ultrasonic mode; the third step of ball milling, wherein ball milling is carried out on the mixed liquid to obtain a sizing agent; the fourth step of drying, wherein vacuum drying is carried out on the sizing agent and dry powder is obtained; the fifth step of hot pressing and sintering, wherein the dry powder is ground and sieved, installed in a mould, sintered by a vacuum hot pressing sintering furnace, and cooled to the indoor temperature, and the ZrB2-SiC ultra-high temperature ceramic composite material is obtained. The method is used for preparing the ZrB2-SiC ultra-high temperature ceramic composite material.
