The invention discloses ceramic printing slurry, a preparation method of the ceramic printing slurry as well as a fabricating method of a chip inductor. The preparation method of the ceramic printing slurry comprises the following steps: mixing 100 parts by weight of ceramic powder particles with 5-15 parts by weight of nitrate to obtain mixed particles, then adding a binding agent, a dispersing agent and a plasticizer into the mixed particles, and stirring, and thus the ceramic printing slurry is formed. The fabricating method of the chip inductor comprises the following steps: printing the ceramic printing slurry disclosed by the invention to obtain a tablet, laminating the tablet, moulding to form a green body, then exposuring the green body, and cutting off, and thus the chip inductor is formed. The ceramic printing slurry has the advantages that colour of the printing slurry is changed by virtue of improved ceramic printing slurry, the light transmittance performance is improved, and then exposure treatment is combined, so that organic resin on the tablet is solidified, and the problem that an adhesive tape is cut after the tablet is laminated can be solved.
