The invention discloses a locking mechanism of a gateway closing device. The locking mechanism comprises locking discs and clamping portions matched with the locking discs to play a locking role. The locking discs comprise the upper locking disc and the lower locking disc, the upper locking disc is the first locking disc, the lower locking disc is the second locking disc, the clamping portions comprise the upper clamping portion and the lower clamping portion, the upper clamping portion is the first clamping portion, the lower clamping portion is the second clamping portion, the first clamping portion comprises an arc-shaped structure, the length of an arc of the arc-shaped structure is identical to the distance between upper teeth of the first locking disc, the second clamping portion involves an elastic plate movably connected with the second clamping portion and a fixing structure used for fixing the second clamping portion to the elastic plate, and the fixing structure is fixed to the lower surface of a supporting structure on the upper portion of the fixing structure through the upper surface of the fixing structure. The second clamping portion comprises a U-shaped body, a groove and an elastic component, the U-shaped body is located in the groove, and the elastic component is located between the tail of the U-shaped body and the inner wall of the groove.
