The invention relates to a device for obtaining fresh water from air. The device comprises a compression refrigerating system, a running wheel adsorption system and a moist air condensation system. The running wheel adsorption system comprises an adsorption dehumidification running wheel and a disposing fan. Air in atmosphere flows through a moisture adsorption area of the adsorption dehumidification running wheel under the effect of the disposing fan and then is exhausted towards the atmosphere. When hot air passes through a moisture desorption area of the adsorption dehumidification running wheel, moisture adsorbed in the running wheel is desorbed, and therefore moist air is produced. The moist air condensation system comprises an air cooler and a cooling fan. Air is condensed to produce moisture when passing through a refrigeration evaporator; when cooled air passes through a rear-mounted air cooler, moisture in the moist air is condensed to obtain moisture again. According to the device, moisture can be efficiently obtained from air on the condition of low water content, and meanwhile unit power consumption water is larger than 3 kilograms when water content in dry air is about 21.4g/Kg.
