A centrifugal model test lateral static force loading device comprises a permanent-magnet low-speed synchronous motor, a gear case, a worm gear, and a load sensor; the permanent-magnet low-speed synchronous motor is vertically disposed on the gear case; the output of the permanent-magnet low-speed synchronous motor is outputted to the worm gear in a parallel manner after deceleration by gears in the gear case; a turbine shaft is disposed horizontally; the load sensor is disposed at the end of the turbine shaft in a horizontal direction. The device of the invention can simulate a large lateral static force amplitude, and can continuously and stably apply a lateral load; a lateral load-displacement curve can be obtained during loading; the device facilitates the arrangement of a geotechnical centrifugal model; the operation of the invention is quite safe, and accurate control can be realized.
