Seismic retrofitting method
The present invention is a method for seismic retrofitting by way of a unit for reinforcing existing beam and column frames comprising existing beams and existing columns in an existing building. The seismic reinforcing method, in which a portal-shaped reinforcing unit is assembled by coupling a pair of L-shaped reinforcement pieces and a pair of I-shaped reinforcement pieces by a bolt, comprises: a step of column enlarging for enlarging, by way of anchoring, a column reinforcing enlarged section, in which a column reinforcing main reinforcement, disposed parallel to the existing column, and reinforcing hoops, wound orthogonally to the column reinforcing main reinforcement, are disposed on the exterior of the existing column; a step of beam enlarging for enlarging, by way of anchoring, a beam reinforcing enlarged section, in which a beam reinforcing main reinforcement, disposed parallel to the existing beam, and reinforcing hoops, wound orthogonally to the beam reinforcing main reinforcement, are disposed on the exterior of the existing beam; and a step of fixing reinforcement pieces for anchoring the pair of L-shaped reinforcement pieces and the pair of I-shaped reinforcement pieces to the column reinforcing enlarged section and beam reinforcing enlarged section and injecting an adhesive resin between the column reinforcing enlarged section and the pairs of L-shaped reinforcement pieces and I-shaped reinforcement pieces and between the beam reinforcing enlarged section and the pairs of L-shaped reinforcement pieces and I-shaped reinforcement pieces.
