The invention belongs to the field of wall coatings for interior decoration, and particularly relates to environment-friendly interior wall coating composition. The environment-friendly interior wall coating composition is characterized by being prepared from raw materials in parts by mass as follows: 25-50 parts of diatomaceous earth, 45-90 parts of shell powder, 1-5 parts of casein, 20-40 parts of glue powder, 1-5 parts of methylcellulose, 20-60 parts of talcum powder, 20-40 parts of calcium magnesium powder, 15-30 parts of kaolin, 5-10 parts of titanium dioxide, 1-3 parts of wood fiber and 1-3 parts of short fiber. The used materials mostly are non-toxic natural materials or natural materials with lower toxicity, and the coating is a low-cost interior wall coating with excellent overall performance in the aspects of smell, environmental protection and performance.
