The invention discloses an environment-friendly flame-retardant building material which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20-30 parts of rubber particle, 15-20 parts of haydite, 10-15 parts of magnesia powder, 1-10 parts of nano silicon dioxide, 5-10 parts of silicic acid fiber, 3-8 parts of thickener, 1-5 parts of toughener, 3-5 parts of flame retardant and 2-6 parts of solidifying agent. Compared with the prior art, the building material has the advantages of excellent flame retardancy, energy saving, environment friendliness and reasonable price, can not pollute the environment, is convenient for construction, and can be widely used in outer walls of buildings.
