The invention provides a high-nonlinearity frit doped zinc oxide voltage-sensitive ceramic material. A preparation method of the material comprises steps as follows: 1), zinc and boron glass powder materials are prepared firstly: 2), a main material of the voltage-sensitive ceramic material is prepared, the formula of the main material comprises components of raw materials at mole ratio as follows: 94.95% of zinc oxide, 1.25% of bismuth oxide, 0.4% of titanium dioxide, 0.4% of cobaltic oxide, 1% of manganese dioxide, 1% of tin oxide and 1% of antimonous oxide; 3), zinc and boron glass powder and the main material of the voltage-sensitive ceramic material are subjected to ball milling by a ball mill, drying, forming and dumping and then are sintered at the temperature of 1,020-1100 DEG C, and the voltage-sensitive ceramic material is prepared. A series of voltage-sensitive ceramics with electric potential gradient of 470-1,170 V/min and nonlinear coefficient of 50-115 can be obtained, the manufacturing process is simple, the energy consumption is small, and the voltage-sensitive ceramic material is green, environment-friendly and good in overall performance and can be used for manufacturing a high-quality lightning arrester product of an ultra-high voltage or extra-high voltage electric power system.
