The invention relates to an electric-insulation ceramic coating material. The electric-insulation ceramic coating material comprises a crystalline-phase high-resistance material and an amorphous-phase high-resistance material, the dosages of which are as follows by mass percent: 12-36% of the crystalline-phase high-resistance material and 64-88% of the amorphous-phase high-resistance material, and the sum of the dosages of the two materials is 100%; a crystalline phase of the crystalline-phase high-resistance material is mainly Zn2SiO4, Zn2Sb2O7, Zn2VO4, BiVO4, Bi2SiO5 and BaCrO4, and the amorphous-phase high-resistance material comprises the following components: SiO2, Li2O, K2O, CaO and the like. The electric-insulation ceramic coating material can be formed by once firing zinc oxide voltage-sensitive ceramics, a firing temperature range is 1,140-1,220 DEG C, and the surface of the fired coating is clean, does not absorb water and has excellent insulation barrier property; the insulation resistance of the electric-insulation ceramic coating material can be up to 3.3*10<12> omega*cm and can meet the flashover-resistance requirement of zinc oxide piezoresistor valve blocks.
