The invention provides a novel water tank with the capabilities of cleaning and disinfecting purified water. A water inlet is formed below the left side of the water tank, a pressure gauge, a valve, a filter, a backflow preventor and a water pump are sequentially arranged between a tap water outlet and a water inlet, and an automatic cleaning device is arranged in the water tank; the automatic cleaning device comprises a hydraulic rotary spray pipe, a blow-off pipe and a suction pipe, wherein a nozzle is formed in the terminal of the suction pipe, a water inlet filter screen is arranged between the water inlet of the water tank and a water inlet in the bottom of the blow-off pipe, and filter screens are arranged at the left and right side in the water tank and are intersected with the nozzle in parallel; a heating device and an ultraviolet disinfection device are arranged in the water tank, and the ultraviolet disinfection device is arranged at a water outlet in the right side of the water tank. The water tank provided by the invention integrates multiple functions of water storage, water purification, cleaning and disinfection, the functions are diversified, the water quality of outlet water is excellent, and the water safety of the user can be ensured.
