The present invention provides a method for using solid waste to prepare a regenerated building mortar, and belongs to the technical field of building materials and environmental protection. In the prior art, the traditional building mortar production consumes a large amount of cement and lime, nature sand sources exhaust in a lot of areas, the utilization rate of a lot of city building garbage is extreme low, and other problems exist. A purpose of the present invention is to mainly solve the problems in the prior art. The regenerated building mortar preparation method comprises: adopting slag, fly ash and other industrial waste residues as main raw materials, adding a composite activator to prepare an ecological cement so as to replace the general purpose cement and the lime, and using building garbage (waste brick and waste mortar mixture) to process to prepare the regenerated fine aggregate so as to replace natural sand to prepare the building mortar, wherein the ecological cement comprises, 50-60 wt% of slag powder, 20-30 wt% of fly ash, 5-8 wt% of quick lime, 3-5 wt% of gypsum, 2-4 wt% of sodium sulfate, and 0.05-0.1 wt% of ethylene glycol (additionally adding). The method of the present invention can be used for preparing the commonly used building mortal in the general civil engineering.
