The present invention discloses a ceramic interior wall brick preparation method, which comprises: respectively carrying out primary crushing on gold tailings, kaolin, bentonite and Zijin clay according to a certain ratio, grinding the obtained crushed materials and water in a ball mill, screening, spraying into a powder material by using a spray drying tower, staling, carrying out dry pressing on the obtained powder material to obtain a billet, placing the obtained billet onto a pad plate through a vacuum adsorber, conveying the billet and the pad plate into a roll table kiln, firing at a temperature of 1200 DEG C, glazing after cooling the billet, and carrying out secondary firing to obtain the ceramic interior wall brick. According to the present invention, the gold tailings treated as the waste is adopted as the main raw material to prepare the ceramic interior wall brick so as to increase the value of the gold tailings and reduce the production cost; and the performance of the prepared interior wall brick is good, the quality is high, the compressive strength achieves more than or equal to 800 N, and the water absorption rate achieves 9.0%.
