The invention discloses a method for erecting a pier top steel beam through a single-side pier-side bracket, and relates to the technical field of bridge construction. The method includes the following steps: a beam erection crane station support and a first beam erection crane are sequentially installed on the top of a lower transverse beam of a main tower through a tower crane, and the pier-side bracket is installed on the main span side of the main tower through the first beam erection crane; a second inter-joint steel beam is erected on the pier-side bracket through the first beam erection crane, then the first beam erection crane is moved to the second inter-joint steel beam, the beam erection crane station support is disassembled, and a third inter-joint steel beam and a fourth inter-joint steel beam are sequentially erected through the first beam erection crane, wherein the third inter-joint steel beam and the fourth inter-joint steel beam are located over the top of the lower transverse beam of the main tower; a second beam erection crane is assembled on the fourth inter-joint steel beam through the first beam erection crane, and a first inter-joint steel beam is erected; a fifth inter-joint steel beam is erected through the second beam erection crane, a pair of inclined inhaul cables which are most close to the main tower in an inclined inhaul bridge are hung, and a sixth inter-joint steel beam is erected through the second beam erection crane.
