The invention discloses a locking dog driving method and device of an electronic label seal, and relates to the technical field of electronic label seals. The method comprises the following steps that after an electronic label seal controller receives a locking instruction, the position where a locking dog of the electronic label seal is located is determined according to detection signals of a position sensor of the locking dog of the electronic label seal; when it is determined that the locking dog of the electronic label seal is currently located at an unlocking stop position, the electronic label seal controller controls an electronic label seal motor to drive the locking dog of the electronic label seal to carry out locking movement, and the moving position of the locking dog of the electronic label seal is detected in real time according to detection signals of the position sensor of the locking dog of the electronic label seal; when detecting that the locking dog of the electronic label seal moves to a locking trigger position, the electronic label seal controller controls the electronic label seal motor to carry out overshoot preventing operation, and the electronic label seal controller stops the operation of the electronic label seal motor when it is detected that locking dog of the electronic label seal moves to a locking stop position. The locking dog driving method and device of the electronic label seal reduce the mechanical operation fault ratio of a mechanical control module in the electronic label seal in the locking process.
