An affixation device for a vehicle door is provided with: a door lock striker configured so as to be provided to a first panel which is one of a vehicle body panel and a door panel; a latch mechanism configured so as to be provided to a second panel which is the other of the vehicle body panel and the door panel, and also configured so as to be capable of holding the vehicle door in a closed state by engaging with the door lock striker; a wedge body configured so as to be provided to the second panel; a sloped surface provided to the wedge body and configured so as to come into contact with the door lock striker on the basis of the closing operation of the vehicle door; a contact section provided to the door lock striker and coming into contact with the sloped surface of the wedge body; and a pressing member configured so as to be provided to the second panel and pressing the wedge body in the direction in which the sloped surface of the wedge body is pressed against the contact section of the door lock striker.
