The blast-furnace slag powder activity activator comprises following raw materials, by weight, 3 to 6 parts of triethanolamine, 0.5 to 2 parts of ethanediol, 1 to 2 parts of sodium acetate, 1 to 2.5 parts of sodium lignin sulfonate, 3 to 5 parts of urea, and 0.2 to 0.55 part of sodium nitrite. A preparation method of the blast-furnace slag powder activity activator comprises following steps: water is added for stirring; urea is added, and an obtained mixture is stirred uniformly; sodium acetate, sodium lignin sulfonate, and sodium nitrite are added successively, and stirring is carried out for 15min each time; and triethanolamine and ethanediol are added, and stirring is carried out for 4h. Compared with the prior art, beneficial effects of the blast-furnace slag powder activity activator are that: the blast-furnace slag powder activity activator is capable of increasing mineral powder specific surface area, stimulating early activity of mineral powder, ensuring cement (concrete) quality, shortening construction period, and increasing engineering efficiency.
