The invention discloses a method for preparing a portland cement-based building material. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of weighting raw materials, namely, portland cement, auxiliary additives, sand, polypropylene fiber and naphthalene water reducer; putting the raw materials into a cone-shaped double helix stirrer and uniformly stirring for 50 minutes to obtain the portland cement-based building material. The portland cement-based building material has the advantages of easily purchasable raw materials and uncomplicated production process, is simple and easy to manufacture products, is convenient and can be evenly used during the use, the production stability is met, the production efficiency is increased and the cost is saved.
