The invention discloses a polystyrene building block convenient for installation. The integral block is a cuboid structure, one side of the block is provided with a lateral lug, and the other end is provided with a lateral accommodating groove; the top end face of the block is provided with a projection, and the bottom end face is provided with a groove; the core space of the groove has the shape and the dimension both corresponding to those of the projection; and the central part of the block is symmetrically provided with two cavities. By using the polystyrene building block convenient for installation, the thermal insulation performance of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) concrete building block is further improved, rapid assembling and precise positioning are realized, man hour is saved, and also building block relative movement caused by shock can be avoided.
