The invention discloses a metal and nonmetal welding method which is characterized by including the steps: (1) positioning a workpiece to be welded according to structural requirements by a manual or automatic device; (2) selecting active brazing paste; (3) smearing the brazing paste at a preset position to be welded of metal and nonmetal or nonmetal and nonmetal structures manually or by the aid of an automatic paste dispensing device; (4) performing welding in a furnace. Compared with the prior art, the welding method has the advantages that mutual vacuum brazing welding between metal and nonmetal can be realized, and structures made of various different materials such as metal and nonmetal are permanently and firmly combined together.
