The invention discloses a waterproof heat-insulation novel building material, which comprises the following raw materials by weight percentage: 10-20% of wood chip powder, 15-25% of peat, 8-15% of plant crushing object, 10-20% of oil shale, 15-25% of metacrylic acid ester, 0.4-0.6% of cellulose acetate cellulose acetate, 3-4% of oxide, 3-4% of reinforcing agent, 3-4% of stearic acid, 8-10% of aluminium hydroxide, 0.3-0.5% of ferrous sulphate and 3-6% of adhesive. The prepared material can adapt to the climate and temperature change, cracks are difficultly generated, water leakage is avoided, and the prepared material has strong impact resistance capability, good cohesive property, good heat insulation function, no shedding, strong flame resistance, wide resource, low comprehensive cost, simple production technology, less construction process, high cost performance and wide market prospect.
